For over seven years, FMI Medical Instruments has been a contract manufacturer specializing in spine, trauma/fixation, joint replacement and cranio-facial instruments and implants for many of the orthopaedic OEM manufacturers. This experience has earned them the Tier 1 status for some of the largest orthopaedic OEM’s in the US. Technology

Technology is the key to our success. FMI utilizes the latest technology in 3D Solid modeling & multi-axis CNC programming software as well as the latest technological advancements in multi-tasking CNC machines. These capabilities include 13-Axis Swiss-type turning, 6-Axis Multi-tasking Mill/Turn, 5-Axis Trunnion-style milling and 5-Axis wire EDM. FMI has experience with medical-grade stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, super alloys and cobalt chromium.
